The Balto Soft is designed to alleviate elbow joint pain in dogs, as well as the lameness and discomfort caused by the repetitive strain on the front limb joints. The dog elbow brace is an excellent remedy for dogs experiencing restricted movement as a result of injuries to the elbow joint. This ventilated compression bandage, constructed from non-neoprene fabric, offers stability and assistance to your canine's forelimbs while preserving their innate mobility.  This elbow brace is a superb choice for dogs requiring extra assistance while keeping an active lifestyle.

    Recommended for all ages unless otherwise advised by veterinarians. For essential bracing in pets younger than two, use a brace for balanced intervals of time to avoid potential growth disruptions.

    Instructions for Use

    Step 1
    Prepare the brace by opening the straps and place the brace over the dog's back (Fig.1).

    Step 2
    Position the brace by lining up the padding with the elbow. Secure all the Velcro straps. The dog needs to be standing with their weight catered (Fig. 2).

    Step 3
    Use the Velcro strap to adjust the length of the back strap. Position the contralateral padding with the elbow (Fig. 3).

    Secure the Velcro strap (Fig. 4).

    The back strap is adjustable: Remove the Velcro ends and cut the strap to the desired length. Reapply the Velcro ends and tightly close with the Velcro strap to ensure the brace is stable (Fig. 5).

Non-expedited, ground shipping is free with purchase in UK only. For shipping outside the United Kingdom to the European Union (excluding Italy), additional shipping costs may be incurred and the order should be received within 5-20 business days. Please be mindful of additional time for customs to process.

    If for any reason delivery is confirmed by the carrier and the product cannot be found, a police report must be filed before a replacement is sent. If the product is lost by the carrier, Balto® UK will file a claim and a replacement will be sent.

    RETURNS & EXCHANGES

    Once the product reaches the purchaser, Balto UK reserves the right to refuse a full refund. Balto UK will accept returns or requests for refunds for any product within 30 days of receipt of product. Refunds will be processed within three business days of receipt of product and will be issued to the method of payment used at purchase. Keep in mind that refunds can take a 5-10 business days to reflect in your account. Refunds will only be honored if during the initial fitting the product is determined to be a poor fit, function, and/or the product is affecting the health or healing of the patient. Visual inspection may be required.

     

    The brace must be in resale condition to receive a refund. This means that the brace cannot have hair, wear, dirt, and/or no modifications can have been made to the brace. After we receive the brace back, we will evaluate its condition and then issue a refund.  Balto UK does not offer refunds for refusal from your pet to wear the product. If the purchaser simply does not want to use the device for reasons other than described above, Balto UK will not issue a refund.

     

    Balto UK will NOT cover the cost of return shipping. If you are needing to exchange your brace, a return mailing label will be provided for you once your request has been approved. To exchange a product, you will need to place your new order online. Once we receive the return or exchange back, we will evaluate its condition and then issue you a refund.     • Wear the brace for 30 minutes a day, increasing 30 minutes each day after, for up to 12 hours
    • Consult your veterinarian for specific instructions on when to wear your brace
    • Remove the brace when your animal sleeps at night
    • Inspect your pet for signs of skin irritation. If any are present, contact your veterinarian
    • In addition to wiping the brace clean, keep skin and fur that comes into contact with the brace clean
    • Inspect your brace regularly for any damage

    A clean brace not only prevents infections, irritation, and a stinky smell; but it also allows your brace to last longer. To help support the longevity of your bracing device, here are some of our tips on how to properly clean your orthopedic bracing:

    1. Remove as much hair as possible from any Velcro® frequently to prevent compaction.
    2. Use lint roller or lightly adhesive tape to remove hair from the material of the brace.
    3. By hand, use warm water and a gentle cleansing soap to remove any stains and odors.
    4. Rinse soap thoroughly from the brace
    5. Hang to dry. Once the brace is completely dry, it is ready for use!
