The Balto® Life is ideal for dogs with all degrees of hip dysplasia. It can help relieve pain by providing bilateral hip compression via two rigid disks lined with a double layer of comfortable, soft material.
The brace is made from a washable, breathable fabric and features adjustable, removable handles to help pets with limited mobility. It can be used as an alternative for pets who are not suitable candidates for surgery, though it is not recommended to use in place of surgery.

*When measuring your dog, ensure that the tape measure is tight against the leg, and if between sizes, always choose the bigger size up.
- Allow up to two weeks for your pet to fully accept the brace
- Wear the brace for 30 minutes a day, increasing 30 minutes each day after, for up to 12 hours
- Consult your veterinarian for specific instructions on when to wear your brace
- Remove the brace when your animal sleeps at night
- Inspect your pet for signs of skin irritation. If any are present, contact your veterinarian
- In addition to wiping the brace clean, keep skin and fur that comes into contact with the brace clean
- Inspect your brace regularly for any damage
